Why artists stay.
When a shop removes an artist, their coil URL stays live and the artist gets 30 days to pick a solo plan. Everything portable: inquiries, deposits, reviews, waitlist, touch-up credits. Sounds backwards, but it makes recruiting easier — artists pick shops that don't hold their career hostage.

Apprentice mode.
Flag any roster artist as an apprentice from the roster page. Their bookings sit in a 'pending approval' queue — mentor reviews, optionally re-prices, then approves. Quiet teaching tool, brand protection for the shop, and it kills the chronic under-pricing problem in one move.

The shop math page.
Per-chair money in, overtime hours, tip rate, repeat-client rate, requests you missed. Numbers you've never seen for your shop because the spreadsheet was always out of date. Now they're live, every day, in one screen.
One tool. Every chair.
- Roster inbox. Every artist's inquiries flow into the same shop-level inbox. Reassign, sort, or hand off without losing context. Each artist still gets their own per-chair view; the shop owner sees the whole roster.
- Walk-in queue. Drop a walk-in into the shop-level queue. Coil assigns to the next available chair or to the artist whose style fits, tracks the wait, and flips to in-session when the chair starts the clock.
- Commission splits. Set per-artist percentages on the roster page. Every session writes a commission line item. End of month: a single payout sheet, exportable to CSV.
- Piercer chairs. Flag a chair as piercing on the roster page. The inquiry form swaps to piercing vocabulary, the consent template asks about jewelry instead of design approval, the aftercare cadence stretches months instead of weeks. Same chair, same shop, different trade.
- Convention + guest spots. A traveling artist on your roster gets QR-tokened booth landing pages for conventions and an auto-promote for guest spots. Walk-ups become tracked leads instead of forgotten business cards.
